What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We store this alongside the workspaces you create, the domains you add, and the scan results we generate for those domains. We also log the IP address and user-agent string associated with each login session for security purposes.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide the Modwarden service running scans, showing you results, sending email notifications about your security posture, and managing your subscription. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described below.

Third parties

Data retention

Scan history and findings are retained for 90 days. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

Cookies and local storage

We use a signed cookie to maintain your login session. No third-party tracking cookies are set. We store your timezone preference in a cookie to display dates correctly.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Modwarden is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
