Acceptance

By creating an account or using Modwarden, you agree to these terms. If you are using Modwarden on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Permitted use

You may only add domains that you own or have explicit authorization to scan. Using Modwarden to scan domains you do not control is strictly prohibited and may constitute unauthorized access under applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this rule without notice.

Subscription and billing

Modwarden is a monthly subscription service billed on a recurring basis. Your trial period lasts 7 days from account creation. By entering your payment details and starting a subscription, you expressly authorize Modwarden to charge your payment method automatically each billing period until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

We will send you a reminder email at least 48 hours before your free trial converts to a paid subscription. After that initial conversion, your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period without further notice. It is your responsibility to cancel before a renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.

Service availability

We aim to keep Modwarden available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific uptime. Scheduled scans may be delayed during maintenance windows.

Limitation of liability

Modwarden is a monitoring and advisory tool. Scan results do not constitute a comprehensive security audit, and we make no guarantee that findings are exhaustive or that your systems are secure. We are not liable for any damages arising from security incidents, missed findings, or reliance on scan results. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service for unlawful purposes. You may delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Modwarden service that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of São Paulo, Brazil.
